Come out and support Nouvel’s National Honor Society’s first blood drive of the year on September 30, 2014 from 7:15am-2:00pm. Every person who donates, Michigan blood will make a generous donation of ten dollars, even if the full amount of blood is not met. If you are interested in donating, go to http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0b45adaf2ea5fb6-fall to sign up for a certain time slot or just talk to any NHS member. To be eligible to donate you need to be at least 17 years old (16 with parental permission), permission slips can be found in Mr. Bartels room. You also need to be at least 110 pounds, be in good health, eat a nutritious meal 2 to 4 hours ahead of time, arrive on time and bring a photo ID. Last year we set a school record for giving the most blood, lets let this year set the new record. Talk to your parents, friends and relatives and persuade them to donate. Giving blood saves lives!
