FNV Hockey Update

The Griffins hockey team has been doing very well as of late. They are currently 4 and 2 and they are on a three game win streak after two wins last week. They won last Wednesday in a 5 to 1 blowout against the Bay Area Thunder. Senior captain Kenny Kujawa had a goal followed by two assists. Also senior Sean Nowosatka had a goal as well with two assists. Finally, sophomore John Paul Lefevre had a goal. It was a solid showing from the Nouvel players. The Griffins also beat Petoskey last Saturday in another 5 to 1 blowout. John Paul scored a goal that game and Kenny had an assist. The hockey team has two more games coming up this week. The first one is
Wednesday the 6th against S.C.F. who are currently 0 and 2. The game will be played at the Saginaw Bay Ice Arena. The next game is Saturday the 9th versus Alliance. Right now they have a record of 6 and 1 and this game will also be at the Saginaw Bay Ice Arena. “It has been very fun playing this year and exciting,” says captain Kenny Kujawa.
