On October 11th, Nouvel Senior Katie Messana was named Reserve World Champion for High-Point Dressage, at the Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show. This event took place October 9-11, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Katie and her horse, SCMF “Winged Warrior” a.k.a. Wing had three performances in a pressure packed stage in Oklahoma. On the first day, after warm ups, Wing was laser focused and had an amazing ride. According to Katie, “it was one of the best performances we had.” The second day was also a very good performance, maybe not as great as the day one performance, but it was still a great performance. The third day started less than ideal, there was a tornado warning and pouring rain the night and early into the morning. Wing started the day a little more enthusiastic than the other days, but Katie calmed Wing down and had a good day, allowing the duo to win Reserve World Champion for High-Point Dressage.
