Class Trips Provide Learning Beyond NCC

  There have been many changes at Nouvel this year. A newly renovated school, new teachers, and now each grade gets to go on a special class trip. The sophomores will be in D.C. this January for the March for Life; while the juniors will be heading north to Stratford, Canada to immerse themselves in all things Shakespeare. The freshman trip is undetermined as is the senior trip. The senior trip is usually at Cedar Point but this year it might be changed because the 12th graders feel like mixing things up a bit. Senior class advisor Mrs. Wheatley had this to say when asked where the seniors were going for their class trip “Cedar Point is still a consideration however we are still open to other destinations”.

  When asked where the freshmen were thinking of going Mr. Novak the 9th grade class advisor said “we are planning to go to Michigan State University or some other college in Michigan. The purpose of this trip is they are going to sit in classes go on a tour of the college and get a feel of college life”. The students seemed to be excited at the thought of going on a big class trip; stated Sophomore Jake Jimenez  “I’m very excited it should be very interesting and educational. I’m excited to learn out of school”.
