Nouvel Boys Soccer

The Nouvel Boys Soccer team has continued putting in the work this season. With a record of  1-8-2, , the boys lost a close game on Wednesday, October 6th against Hemlock.  In the game against Hemlock, senior Luke Lebordais, scored off a free kick just outside of the box, 7 minutes into the game. Nouvel held Hemlock off with some amazing defense. With  25 minutes left in the second half, Hemlock scored back to back goals, and despite Nouvel’s best efforts, they sadly could not get another goal to tie the game. Looking ahead, Derek Bauer, Sophomore, and outside wing and midfielder said that his favorite quote keeping him motivated right now is “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”, from Wayne Gretzky. Their next game is Monday at home against Valley Lutheran. They also have districts at home against Hemlock on Thursday. They are hoping to defeat Hemlock in the rematch.
