Hockey Update

The FNV Griffilns started out their Christmas Break at a tournament in Petosky on Friday December 19 and continued through Saturday December 20. The Griffins came out of their tournament with a 1-1 standing, losing in a shoot out, but winning 6-3 against Petosky High School. On Saturday January 3, the Lakeville Alliance Hockey team came out victorious against the Griffins with a 4-2 win. In Big Rapids on Friday January 9, the Griffins sadly lost 1-9. Senior Zach Komorowski says their season so far is “fun,” and sophomore George Kler says he is “looking forward to the rest of the season.” Starting Wednesday January 21 they will be playing at home, and will be for the following four games, come out and support!
