Heading into October, Nouvel Boys soccer is at a respectable record of 9-5. Captain Will Jarema exclaimed, “We’ve been putting a lot of good work at practice and its nice to see it translate over to the field and our record.” The boys started off the season with a rough start, but have been looking up ever since then. The Panthers have four games left in the regular season and are looking to gain momentum for the start of districts. This week, the boys play on Monday against Harbor Beach and again on Thursday versus Marlette High school. Come out to support your boys soccer team as they finish up the regular season in the next few weeks. Districts start up the 2nd week of October, the Panthers will be facing off against Valley Lutheran. Last year, the boys lost in their first playoff game against Lincoln-Alcona and hope to make it much farther this season. With many young players this season, it has really been a year to grow for them, but they are looking to make a run this playoff season. Come out and support your Panthers for the remainder of the 2017 season!
