The Nouvel-Heritage Ski Team’s season has come to an end. Regionals finished on February 10th at Crystal Mountain. The boys team finished 6th out of 12 and the girls team was 12th out of 12. Nouvel Senior Avery Kenny qualified for states! He was in the top for giant slalom to qualify for the state competition, and that automatically qualified him for slalom as well. The state finals took place February 22nd at Nubs Nob Resort in Harbor Springs. Many seniors as well as Avery’s brother, Reece, went up north to watch the meet. Avery finished 17th in giant slalom and 18th in slalom. Said Avery, “I was proud to represent Saginaw at ski states”.
Congratulations on a great season NCC-HHS Ski!
