At Regionals, Connor Nowosatka proved his dominance and became the Regional champion for #1 singles. He beat out Alma with a score of 6-1, and the number 4 seed Ithaca 6-0. Also, he beat the #2 seed Chesaning 6-0, and 6-2. He advanced to States which took place this past Friday and unfortunately he did not come out on top. Connor has showed a lot of promise through only two years of play.

This year’s Nouvel Varsity tennis team was very young but there is a lot of promising talent. There are six freshman, three sophomores, and one  junior on the team, lead by Coach Scott Symons. Junior Connor Nowosatka has been killed it this year with a personal record of 8-1.  Despite the Panthers lacking Senior leadership, Nowosatka qualified for the State Finals for the second year in a row, and Sophomore Tim Stack making a run at the Regional Final. With their season now complete, players are ready to build on their improvement this year and be a stronger team next season.
