With the start of a new school year comes new teachers! I asked them a few questions about themselves to get to know a little about them…
 Ms. Kendziorski (Religion):
1) What college did you attend?
I attended Franciscan University of Steubenville.
2) What made you want to be a teacher?
My mom taught religion. I am very passionate about our faith and when I found the Lord asking me to teach theology, it was easy to say yes!
3) What did you choose to teach at Nouvel?
I am teaching 9th and 10th graded theology at Nouvel!
4) Who inspires you?
I am incredibly inspired by the Blessed Mother and St. Teresa of Calcutta. Both were strong women with servant”s hearts.
Both lived with a powerful intention to do the will of God. I strive to be the same and to live up to their example in as much as I am able.
5) How do you like Nouvel so far?
I love Nouvel! I am wonderfully impressed by how welcoming everyone is. I am very thankful to be a part of the Nouvel family.
Mrs. Kojack (English):
1) What college did you attend?
I attended Kent State College in Kent, Ohio.
2) What made you want to be a teacher?
I have wanted to be a teacher my entire life.  It is something I feel called to do.  The opportunity to help others grow as students and people is humbling to me, and every day I remind myself that it is a privilege to be in this position.
3) What did you choose to teach at Nouvel?
Nouvel was very attractive to me because of the close-knit community that exists here, and because of the opportunity to teach in a Christ-centered environment.
4) Who inspires you?
My mother is my greatest inspiration.  She worked hard and made sacrifices while raising myself and my two brothers, but she never complained or was resentful.  She is a selfless person who puts others needs before her own and I aspire to be more like her.
5) How do you like Nouvel so far?
I love it! :) The students and staff have been so welcoming.  I honestly drive to school every day with a smile on my face, and I am so grateful to be part of such a positive, supportive environment.
Mrs. Warr (Spanish):
1) What college did you attend?
I attended the University of Michigan — Ann Arbor.
2) What made you want to be a teacher?
I realized that I wanted to be a teacher after teaching Spanish as a volunteer. I want to help students prepare for careers in an ever-globalizing workplace.
3) What did you choose to teach at Nouvel?
I chose to teach Spanish because it is an amazingly beautiful and useful language.
4) Who inspires you?
Antoni Gaudí inspires me because of his dedication to his art and his truly unique way of approaching architecture that is to this day as stunning as it was when he built it. I am also inspired by Princess Diana and all of the amazing charity work that she did during her lifetime. And last, but not least, the philosopher Aristotle for his foundational contributions to nearly every discipline that can be studied.
5) How do you like Nouvel so far?
I love it here. I am so excited to be at Nouvel!
