The girls tennis team had their season opener at Hemlock on April 5th. Nouvel posted a dominant 8-0 victory to start the season. The strong victory will definitly help with their confidence for future matches. This past Tuesday, April 12, Nouvel had their home opener against Chesaning. Nouvel posted very big wins at 4 singles and 1 doubles. Senior Kara Kendal playing at 4 singles fought back after dropping the first set to take the match in three sets. The one doubles team of seniors Laurel Jacqmain and Jenna Alloway-Frollo took the same rout as Kara did to win their match. Laurel and Jenna dropped the opening set, but were able to comeback and win the match in three sets. Their next meet is this Friday, April 15th at Bullock Creek and their next home meet is Monday, April 18th against Frankenmuth. Both meets will be starting at 4:00 pm.
