Nouvel Powerlifting did very well at state finals at Crosswell Lexington high school on March 11. Junior Alex Wrobel, who finished in second in the State Powerlifting finals last year, won first place this year in the 181 pound weight class. Alex lifted a massive total of 1,305 pounds. he lifted 325 pounds for bench, 480 pounds for squat, and a 500 pounds in the deadlift. However, Alex wasn’t the only one to win states for the Panthers. Senior Connor Lipinski also won first place in states for the 155 pound weight class. Connor lifted a  total of 1,195 pounds. He benched 315 pounds, squatted 400 pounds, and deadlifted 480 pounds, setting multiple State records. Great job Alex and Conner. Go Panthers!
