Varsity Football Update

The Panthers had an outstanding win against the Marlette Red Raiders in the district semi-final game. The final score was 49-27 and it was their first game of the Division 6 playoffs. Ryan Sullivan ran for three touchdowns, quarterback Garrett Graham had a rushing touchdown, fullback Austin Hughes had a rushing touchdown, and junior running back Brad Dey had two touchdowns. The Panthers backfield has a lot of depth offensively and defensively. Their defense played a big role on Friday’s game including an interception by linebacker Nick Ludka and corners such as Khristian Goode shutting down the Red Raiders passing game. The Panthers will play the Montrose Rams for the district finals this Friday at 7, and will be held at the Rams home field.
