The Lady Panthers have been doing well, with a winning record of 6-1. Yesterday, they played at Valley Lutheran and won 3-1. It was an exciting game! Senior forward Lydia Jacobs netted two goals, and senior Emilee Rosenberg scored a goal as well. On Monday (4/24), the girls played at Millington and won 8-0. Emilee was the top scorer and had four goals. There were many others that also contributed goals, each finding the net once, including Lydia, juniors Savannah Garcia and Isabella Dobis, and sophomore Hallie Beck. Last Thursday (4/20), they topped Standish Sterling 8-0 on the road. Lydia scored three goals, while also contributing two assists. Sophomore Kelsey Berthiaume added two goals, and sophomores Ava Schroeder and Sydney Leslie, and senior Emilee Rosenberg each scored a goal. Last Wednesday (4/19), the girls played Hemlock and lost in a close game (2-1) at home. This was their first loss of the season. Kelsey scored the only goal for Nouvel. On Monday (4/17), the girls soccer team fought through the cold weather to defeat Ithaca at home 8-0. The top scorers were Emilee with three goals and Lydia with two. Sophomores Isabelle Zamora and Kelsey Berthiaume, and senior Madeline Werner scored goals for the team as well.

So far this season, the girls have allowed only six goals in seven games and are averaging six goals per game. Way to go Lady Panthers! Come out and support the girls soccer team on Saturday (4/29) at home against Garber at 1 P.M.
