Top 5 / Worst 5 Thanksgiving Edition

Top 5
1. Thanksgiving Food- When you wake up on Thanksgiving morning to the smell of pumpkin pie and turkey there is just nothing else in the world that can beat that.
2. High school football finals- Over thanksgiving break there are two days of just straight up high school football championships. Even better, we have a chance of playing at Ford Field on the 26th of November if the team keeps playing the way we have all season
3.No School- Not only do we get our usual weekend to feast like its our day job, we get an extra few days off to relax and stuff our faces with leftover pumpkin pie and enjoy some time with our relatives.
4.Lions- Although the Lions have disappoinedt not only on Thanksgiving but throughout the season for countless years, I think Megatron and the Lions will show the defending World Champs how football is being played around here from now on.
5. Holiday Season- With only one month to go until Christmas rolls around it is time to start preparing your plans for Christmas break and what you plan on buying your family and friends. The best thing about the holiday season coming around the corner is the Christmas lights are starting to come out and in only a few more weeks we will be opening up gifts with our families.

Worst 5
1. Black Friday- Some people look upon this day as one of the greatest.  Personally, I think it’s kind of annoying hearing about people fighting over the last camera in stock and camping out in the cold for 5 straight days to keep their spot in the line to get the newest version of the T.V that the store is releasing. ..Get real and be thankful for what you have…It’s called Thanksgiving for a reason.
2.Bad Weather- Now that we’re getting later into the year everyone is starting to bring out those winter jackets, gloves, and hats because the weather is starting to get bad. What’s the fun when it is cold outside without any snow?
3. Traveling- There is nothing worse than having to wake up on Thanksgiving Day and drive in a car for hours  just to eat a dinner and then drive back in the same day right after the dinner when you could be relaxing and staying in town with your family that lives close by.
4. Annoying Relatives- How about the people you see once every year and don’t even know if you’re related to them or anybody else at the dinner for that matter, but you have to act like you know them, as well as share your family tradition with them…It is just a little weird if you ask me.
5. Awkward Goodbyes- After you seeing those distant relatives and you have to say goodbye…awkward. It is the one thing when I go to my family dinner that I just absolutely dread, having to say the awkward goodbyes and not knowing whether you give them a hug, hand shake, or head nod.
