Player of the Week (Donny Yeager)

This past week Donny Yeager scored his 1,000th point. We highlight him as the Nouvel Player of the Week and asked him questions about the team and his performance.

 Q: How does it feel to have now scored over 1,000 points?

A: It feels good but I know that it’s not all about scoring it’s about winning because we have one goal to win a state championship 

Q: How do you think you and the other guys have done overall as a team?

A: We had a slow start but overall we’re on a good winning streak and were taking it one game at a time. 

Q: How are you feeling about the upcoming games left on your schedule 

A: They will be good games with Chesening, and Carrollton at the Dow which will be fun. I don’t want to think too far into the future since we’re just trying to take it one game at a time but I think they are all winnable games though. 

Q: As a team what is your guy’s mentality headed into a game

A: Our mentality is just to go out and play solid defense play our game and just play our absolute hardest to win the game
