Around January 22nd of every year, communities from all over the United States come together to support life. 45 years ago Roe v. Wade Act was passed. This law began the movement known as The March for Life. The march hopes to spread awareness and to prevent abortions from happening. However, the march stands for social justice and the sanctity of all human life. If society can’t support everyone’s right to life than society is failing. Communities come together in solidarity to encourage and inspire all ages to join in the movement. over 100,000 people come together every year to show that all lives are important.

After speaking with Senior Claire Towns and Sophomore Zaiden Mitchell, they had some positives words about their experience. On the day of the march, the students and chaperons walked about 8 miles with thousands of people. Inspired by all the powerful emotion around them, they were proud to be apart of the experience. They said it was a neat experience to see so many people come together for one event. There was music, speeches and pictures throughout the whole march that informed them of the major importance of this movement. Following the march, was the Feminist movement which was new to most attending the march and was interesting to see how people reacted. All in all the students and parents attending said that it was a good life experience that everyone should get the chance to be apart of at some point in their life.
