Girls Basketball Looks to Grow

Girls basketball is going into the season after losing 9 of their seniors, 5 of which were starters. This season has been a tough start, taking losses to Essexville Garber, John Glenn, Reese, Hemlock, and Valley Lutheran. Since they are a younger team, they are looking to grow throughout the season and finish better than they started. Senior captain Iris Patel says, “This season is going to be a season of development and growth. Despite the start to the season we are all keeping great attitudes and making memories as a team.” In the match against Valley Lutheran, Patel led Nouvel with a team high of 13 points, followed by Senior Lexi Kuligowski with 8. Their next game is home against Alma on Tuesday, December 20.
