Putting In The Work- Varsity Volleyball

The Varsity Volleyball team is continuing to fight hard this season. Following a few hard fought losses, Monday 10/25 the ladies celebrated senior night, with their last home game against John Glenn and won by winning all 3 sets! On Wednesday 10/13 the girls played Standish at home and also took the victory by winning all 3 sets. However, later in the week, the ladies played Flint Powers and put up a tough fight but unfortunately ended up falling to them, followed by rivals Valley Lutheran at home, fighting hard but losing 3-1.

Sara Wilson, senior, and outside hitter says ‘’So far I think we have had our ups and downs but we are improving and working better together as a team. We could improve on staying positive and keep our energy up on every play. I am looking forward to districts and hopefully making it far.’’ On Wednesday 10/27 they are playing there last regular season game against Carrolton  and are hoping to finish strong and take the win.
