FNV Hockey Update

The Griffins are rolling after another huge W against hockey powerhouse Davison. On their 2nd annual mental health awareness night last Friday FNV beat the Davison Cardinals 4-2 behind another hat trick from star forward Liam Simerson. When asked about the game Simerson said, “It was great to put up a hat trick, but even better to honor former FNV player Ben Younglao and all those struggling with their mental health on our second annual mental health awareness night.” Joey LeFevre from Nouvel scored the other goal in the 4-2 victory. The victory moves FNV to 2-0 all-time on mental health awareness night. On Wednesday, the #4 ranked team in the state, Warren De La Salle, comes to the Saginaw Bay Ice Arena to take on the Griffins. The game starts at 7:15 P.M. On Friday, the Griffins take on the Cheboygan Chiefs in Cheboygan at 7:30 P.M.
