The Lady Panthers started their season on the road against the Dukes of Garber. Unfortunately, they came up short 56 to 29 against the Dukes. However, they did come back ready to play and were prepared against Bay City All Saints. The girls basketball team won this game 41 to 36 after the loss to Duke. Unfortunately, the ladies fell in their next game against Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy, 48-27.

This years basketball team is composed of girls from all four grade levels which is great for the future of girls basketball because the underclassmen will be exposed to varsity experience at a younger age which will only make them more prepared for the next years to come. The guidance and leadership from our juniors and senior girls will make the team flourish with success because every successful team has great leaders. Senior Karly Skoceles is confident in the team and that they have each others backs, she says, “We work hard everyday in practice so that it shows on the court, our goal is to win at least Districts this season.”
