With the FNV Griffins being half way into their season, their record remains at 3 wins and 4 losses. They had a couple big games throughout these past couple weeks, a win against University of Liggett High school with the end score being 5-4, a big mercy against Flushing High school with 13 goals and Flushing scoring none, and winning 8-5 against Fenton High school this past Wednesday (Dec 15). When asked what the goal was for the season, Senior Liam Simerson said “Our main goal is to win regionals and to move on to quarterfinals.” The FNV Griffins have a tournament this weekend Dec 17-18 in Big Rapids, and have a big game coming up on Wed, Dec. 22 against the Tri-Valley Titans at the Saginaw Bay Ice Arena. When Liam Simerson was asked what he thinks the results of the game will be versus the titans, he said “I am positive that we will pull a mercy over them.” Come out and support your Griffins next Wednesday at home!!
