The Nouvel boys tennis team has started the season with a record of 5-7. The team is lead by one singles, Christian Beyer’s who is a junior and two singles, Billy Buchalski who is also the team captain. This year they have two leading seniors, Billy Buchalski and Josh Champagne. The season has just begun but, they are looking like they are going to be a very optimistic team with an even better team bond! Their latest match was a fun one all the way in Traverse City. They played Traverse City Central and Glen Lakers. The beat Traverse City Central and lost against Glen Lakers. Come out this week Tuesday as they match up against Hemlock!

Playing a sport is all about the memories you make with your team. Noah Lucas, said  ” My favorite part about tennis is the experience and having a good time playing a sport that is fun for everyone.” He also enjoys Coach Simon and how he is always making practice fun and is always willing to give the boys a helping hand. Captain Billy B, said his favorite thing about the tennis team is the people on the team! “Nothing is better than getting along with your teammates, it helps make for a great season.” Everyone try to come out and watch a match if you can!
