The Big Man: Christian Haraga’s Basketball Experience

Senior Christian Haraga has been recruited by various colleges for basketball including Albion College, Alma, Adrian, Concordia University, Spring Arbor University, and Sienna Heights. “C” went through his senior season averaging 17 points while grabbing 10 boards a game. “I never imagined I would be looked at by colleges for basketball three years ago,” Christian said. As a freshmen Christian was third string center and fought for his playing time. However, by the time he became a senior, he grew ten inches and became a starter. Over the years he has accumulated many nicknames, some being “C”, “Big C”, and “The Train”. C accomplished helping the varsity team to bring home a District Championship, but fell short in the Regional Championship game. As his senior year comes to an end we wish him the best in the future and hope he succeeds at  whatever college he chooses.
