Soccer Preps for a Playoff Run

The girls soccer team this year have had a great regular season with a record of 14 wins, 6 losses, and one tie. They are on track to go far this year in playoffs .

The ladies most recent game was against Bullock Creek with a final score of 7-1. Juniors Sterling Solek and Mackenzie Sprauge scored 2 goals each, and Katie Sullivan, Megan Kuch, and Emily Rosenberg all scored 1.  Junior Sterling Solek when asked what her favorite part of the season was responded with ” My favorite part of the season is being able to play with my friends and being able to have a season this year especially since last year we didn’t have one.” Sprague also commented on what her hopes for the seasons were. ” My hopes for the season are to win states and grow together as a team.” The girls next game is May 26th which is the start of playoffs. Their first district game is against Hemlock and which they are perdicted to win. Their next game would be Wednesday against Bad Axe.
