NCC Bowling Team Finishes Strong

The Nouvel bowling team traveled to Ithaca for a make-up tournament on Saturday, February 15th and came away victorious. In fact the ladies almost had the upset of the season by winning a game against the number one team. High games of the day: Katie Sullivan (169, 134); Ava Dobis ‘PR’ed with a 121; Malinda Schmidt (172); Theresa LeFevre ‘PR’ed with a 131; Thomas Witten (153, 135). The teams followed up their victory by competing in their last tournament, the TVC tournament in Midland, on Friday and Saturday, February 21st and 22nd. High scores of that day went to: Lauren Shaheen (153 – career high game!); Malinda Schmidt (146, 154, 150); Tim Bohlman (170, 146); Max Blozman (160); Nick Ehlman (144). The team participated in Regionals this last weekend at Bay Lanes in Bay City. The highest placing bowler for the Panthers was Senior Nick Kennedy.
