Science Olympiad Qualifies for States

The Nouvel Science Olympiad Team performed very well at the regional tournament at Delta College this weekend. They came home with a second place trophy and an invitation to compete at the State Finals at MSU in two months time.
The team earned 9 medals out of 23 events to narrowly edge out the third place team by 1 point.
Science Olympiad had competed in Frankenmuth on February 8th leading up to the Regional competition, coming in 10th out of 26 teams. According to Science Olympiad advisor, Mr. Bradke, “We were very successful and in the process we learned that we have much more work to do to improve.”
This is the 11th straight year that the high school has gone to the state finals.
