Panthers Dominate in First Game of Districts

Nouvel Boy’s Basketball finished strong in their regular season and began Districts with a dominating win over Merrill. On their final regular season home game, and Senior Night, the boy’s defeated St. Charles 54-40. followed that victory with another win against St. Louis, 54-45. The first district game was at Bay City All Saints as the boys faced off against Merrill. The Panthers were untouchable as they crushed the Vandals 75-26! Nouvel’s lead scorer was Senior, Michael Ehlman with 21 points. The boys will continue their way through Districts with a game against Michigan Lutheran Seminary on Wednesday at 6 pm. The team’s overall record is 8-12, with several of those losses being very close games. Said Senior Jonah Wright, “We play hard at practice and that translates to our games. We like to have fun and keep our energy high because that is when we play our best. As a senior I keep in mind that every game could be my last which helps me work harder.”
