The Lady Panthers just fell short to Michigan Lutheran Seminary last Monday.  The game was back and forth until the very end with Michigan Lutheran Seminary coming on top. The final score of the game was Michigan Lutheran Seminary with 53 and the Lady Panthers with 48. The girls played very well together and are starting to look great as a team. This year’s girl’s varsity team is very young with 2 freshmen getting quality minutes and having large roles. Autumn Skowronski a freshmen, was the leading scorer for the panthers with 16 points. Miceala Lewis, a junior, scored 11 points and Allyson Sova a senior, scored 9 points. The Lady Panthers next game will be Friday, February 16th against SASA. They will also play Monday, February 19th against Clio. Junior Jade Patell had this to say, “I really love the way our team is coming together and I hope that the rest of the year turns out well.” The Lady Panthers Varsity Basketball team hopes to continue to build as a team and win some more games.
