Ski Team Season Preview

It’s winter time Nouvel, and that means that it is the beginning of our brand new ski team! Heritage has been gracious enough to allow Nouvel students to join their team this year. As of right now there are only two Nouvel students on the team, Sophomores Avery Kenny and Logan Boardman. They have 4 meets scheduled for this year at Clare, Harrison, and Mt. Pleasant and they are all at the snow snake. The invitational race is at Crystal Mountain with multiple schools and the regional race is at Crystal Mountain. As of right now, practice is 4 days a week at Heritage and then once the snow snake opens it will be 2 days a week. Avery Kenny is the best skier on the team and is hoping to make states. So, make sure to go out and support him this season along with the rest of our ski team.
