The 66th NBA All-Star game is taking place this week. The Western Conference have won it both times in the past 2 years along with Russel Westbrook taking home MVP in both games. The events will be taking place at the Smoothie King Center, the home of the Pelicans. This year is going to be fun with all the new rising stars in the NBA after some of the greats have retired and will not be taking part. Including Kobe, this is the first year since 1998 that Kobe, one of the greatest to play the game that he will not be taking part. It will be fun to watch former teammates Kevin Durant and Russel Westbrook play on the same team after some beef they have with each other for Durant leaving Westbrook for the team they lost to in the playoffs. The lineups are looking real competitive this year.

Starting lineups:

Western:

1) Steph Curry  2) James Harden  3) Kevin Durant  4) Kawhi Leonard 5) Anthony Davis

Eastern

1) Kyrie Irving  2) DeMar DeRozen  3) LeBron James 4) Giannis Antetokounmpo 5) Jimmy Butler

The game will takes place this Sunday, February 19th on TNT.
