The girls basketball team played against Valley Lutheran last Monday, February 28th. The girls worked hard, but fell short to a very strong Valley Lutheran team. The game was back and forth in the first quarter, with a score of 13-8, Valley Lutheran. The Panthers had a slow start to the second quarter and were down by 15 at halftime. Valley Lutheran pulled away from the Lady Panthers in the third and fourth quarter with a final score of 66-30. Valley Lutheran’s 3 point shooting was great during the whole game, and was a big factor in the victory. Junior Micaela Lewis was the leading scorer for the Lady Panthers with 12 points. Junior Jade Patel said ,” Our team played very hard throughout the whole game ,but Valley Lutheran was a great team. I am proud of how we played as a team and we improved a lot over the season.” Great season Lady Panthers!
