Here are some of the top performances statistically by quarterbacks playing in the big game:

1. Tom Brady (Super Bowl LII): Although his team did not win, it surely was not his fault when he put up 505 passing yards breaking the super bowl record.
2. Tom Brady (Super Bowl LI): This time Tom won in almost impossible fashion; his team was trailing 28-3 with less than 3 minutes to go in the third quarter, when he brought them back. His team won in overtime, finishing with 467 passing yards and the Super Bowl MVP.
3. Joe Montana (Super Bowl XXIII): Joe Montana proved that he is one of the most cluth quarterbacks of all time when he led his team 92 yards down the field capping it off with a game winning touchdown pass to John Taylor.
4. Steve Young (Super Bowl XXIX): Steve Young Finally got his opportunity to play in the big game after being back up to Joe Montana and when he got his chance he was nothing short of amazing. He not only won the Super Bowl MVP, but also passing for 325 yards and scoring 6 touchdowns
5. Aaron Rodgers (Super Bowl XLV): Rodgers torched the Pittsburg Steelers and their defense that was ranked highly going into the game. However, Rodgers had no problem putting up 304 yards on 24 for 39 passing leaving with a ring and an MVP award.
