Lady Panthers Prep for Playoffs

Nouvel closed out their season with three wins. The first came against the Rockets of Reese. The ladies traveled to Reese to compete against their long standing rival last Tuesday. Nouvel played through a tough game to win 43-37. Coming back home to play in their senior night, Nouvel beat cross town rival Valley Lutheran 81-37. The game against the Chargers was the team’s largest margin of victory and most points scored. Riding a wave of confidence, the Panthers traveled to Flint to play Flint Powers, another highly ranked opponent in Class C. The Panthers beat the Chargers 56-50 to close out their regular season. Closing out the year strong, the girls are looking to continue their historical playoff success against Michigan Lutheran Seminary in the district semi-finals. This game will be held Monday, March 2nd. Nouvel will be hosting districts this year so make sure to come out and support the home team.
