A Disney Theory, because who doesn’t love Disney?

Disney is one of those things that everyone knows about, and it seems like it has been around forever. With the massive success of Frozen last year, lots of Disney theories have been floated about connections between Disney films. Here is one of them: So for starters, in the movie Frozen you may have caught a quick glimpse of Rapunzel and Eugene from Tangled  making an appearance at Elsa’s coronation, and you probably thought nothing of it. However, the coronation in Frozen takes place three years after Elsa and Anna’s parents died in the shipwreck, and the movie Frozen came out three years after Tangled. Tangled ended with Rapunzel and Eugene getting married. It is said that Elsa and Anna’s parents died on their way to Rapunzel and Eugene’s wedding.

Theories also argue that Tangled must have taken place in Germany due to the look of architecture and culture in the movie, which also happens to be the author’s homeland. In addition, Frozen is set in Arendelle which is based off of a town in Norway. So, we are assuming that Elsa and Anna’s parents ship sank right in between Germany and Norway, which would be probably off the coast of Denmark. Denmark just so happens to be the home of Hans Christian Anderson,  the author of The Little Mermaid (and the story in which parts of Frozen are based on). There even happens to be a real statue of a mermaid in Copenhagen, and this makes people believe that the ship that Ariel and Flounder investigate is the ship that sank in Frozen.

Other theories have suggested that Elsa and Anna’s parents did not die on the boat. Instead, they washed up on a shore in a jungle island. The queen gave birth to a baby boy, they built a tree house, etc. This would mean that Elsa and Anna’s parents are actually Tarzan’s parents as well. Another theory is that Belle from Beauty and the Beast is the grandmother of Jane from Tarzan, which explains how Jane came to own the same china set used in Beauty and the Beast, they both have a similar sense of style (yellow dresses), and this is explains why Jane is drawn to a “beast like” man.

These are just some theories surrounding five Disney movies, crazy right? If you really want your mind blown, check out the theory connecting all of the Pixar movies…
