You cannot celebrate the fall season without visiting at least one haunted house. We visited the St. Charles haunted house “Village of the Living Dead” with a few other friends. First time haunted house goer Liz Long said it was a fun yet extremely frightening experience. The price the get in was only $8 or $15 for a fast pass to the front of the line. The regular line to get in was long, but the workers made it a fun wait. People with creepy masks would walk around and scare you in line for a nonstop scare experience. The scariest may have been the man with a chainsaw who chased people around, but it was all in good fun. The house had a massive variety of scary rooms that played with your senses. One room was filled with fog to where nothing could be seen. One hallway had a spinning room around you, causing for a struggle to stand. There were plenty of other types of rooms, but if you are daring, go and experience the terror for yourself. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
