Super Bowl Beat Down

On February 2nd the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks met for Super bowl XLVIII. The Denver Broncos were led by veteran Peyton Manning who was this seasons MVP. Many believed he would lead them past the Seahawks with the Broncos top rated offense. The young Seattle Seahawks team came ready to play. In the first 12 seconds of the game the Broncos fumbled the ball into the end zone forcing a Safety. This gave the Seahawks a lot of momentum and they never looked back. They led 22-0 at halftime. Peyton Manning and the Broncos never had an offense going and he never looked comfortable at all the whole game. The Seahawks in the end destroyed the Broncos 43-8. A record setting 111 million people watched the game but not with much energy. Many people have conspiracies to what happened and if certain players got paid to throw the game but no one knows if they are true. All we do know is that after halftime the only reason fans continued to watch was for the commercials. The Seahawks top rated defense really came to play and proved it by many hard hitting plays and many defensive scores. Hopefully next year’s super bowl will be a tad bit more interesting than this blow out.
