Summer has come to an end, and it is always difficult to leave the beaches and warm weather behind. The cool mornings have arrived and fall will be here soon. Often, many dread the cold weather, but there are so many things to look forward to. Beginning with one of the top for Nouvel would be the football games. Friday nights are looked forward to and are always fun when the student body gathers in the stands to cheer on our guys. Being out in the cold means you might need to warm up with a hot drink. What’s better than hot chocolate or coffee? Starbuck’s has also recently returned with a signature fall drink, the Pumpkin Spice Latte. This is a must in the fall, and never fails to lift spirits.

Next, when the season changes, the fashion must change as well. For the girls especially, fall fashion has to be a favorite. From riding boots and Uggs to big sweaters, infinity scarves, and leggings, these are found in every girl’s closet. Onto local places you must take a trip. Bayne’s Apple Valley Farm and the pumpkin patch at Hemmeter’s Farm Market are among the top attractions where a visit is needed at least once each season. Bayne’s is a family owned farm that offers delicious baked goods, a swing set for kids, and a gift shop loaded with many great finds. The popular bakery goods that complete the trip include their caramel apples, apple cider doughnuts, and apple cider. With Halloween not too far off, many will find themselves at  Hemmeter’s pumpkin patch. Getting to pick out your own pumpkin to take home and eventually carve is one of the best.  All of these are favorites of fall are finally here, so get out and experience all of them, because winter will be here before you know it!
