The boys continue to work hard within their league play. Despite a tough loss last Friday to rivals Valley Lutheran, their most recent 61-49 victory against Pinconning has kept their focus positive as they approach the end of their seasonn . Their top leading scorer for both the Valley Lutheran and Pinconning match-ups was Senior T.J. Ready with 21 points both nights. Previously, the boys gained another victory over St. Charles, in which the score was 54-50, but boys fell short to both Hemlock and Michigan Lutheran Seminary. The team’s record is 5-11, however most of the losses have been within 6 points. The team has gradually improved every game. Sam Buckingham stated, “we win when we have fun. As long as we keep working hard everyday at practice, we will see results come game time.” The districts are coming up soon, they have been working non-stop on improving all around on the court. Their final home game is this February 15th, which is also Senior Night.
