Valentine’s Day

It is about that time of the year again that hopeless romantics dread, and couples in love absolutely adore. Valentine’s day is just around the corner and you can almost smell the love in the air. Everywhere you turn all you see are red and pink hearts, pictures of cupid and heart-shaped boxes filled with sweet chocolate. If you are constantly seeing advertisements on television talking about gifts for your loved one for this holiday and start to become sad because you do not have that special person, don’t worry! There is a person out there for everybody and eventually they will come to you when you least expect it to happen. A lot of young kids in our generation have a misconception that you need somebody else to make you happy but all you really need is yourself and just because you don’t have a certain significant other during this holiday does not mean you can’t just show love to your friends and family. Valentine’s day is all about spreading love so if you are someone who doesn’t have a girlfriend or boyfriend this year make sure you are still making somebody feel special whether it’s just one of your close friends or your sibling and parents!
