Game of the Year!?

Nouvel’s 2025 football team put on a show in their week 4 homecoming game against Michigan Lutheran Seminary (MLS). Their dominant defense held the cardinals only to 14 points, and their forceful offense led the game with 27 points. Fireworks were provided by Charlie Haddad, the fireworks soared through the night at the climax of every touchdown. Also lasting a 3 minute show at halftime after the crowning of the Homecoming Queen. John Carlson was crowned king earlier that day at the annual homecoming assembly. Sydney Leslie, the previous queen from 2024 had the honor to crown this year’s queen at halftime. Passing the torch to Natalie Shaheen at halftime. The crowning was by far the highlight of the night. The highly anticipated game was an opportunity for redemption with the notion that Nouvel beat MLS last year in their first meeting 23 to 14, and went on to go 9-0 last year until their 2nd meeting with MLS in the first round of playoffs. Father Adam and Father Steve were in attendance cheering on their panthers from the sideline. Nouvel fell short to MLS 20 to 23 ending their season with a distasteful feeling toward the team they couldn’t beat twice. The Panthers current record falls at 3-1.
