Girls Varsity Tennis

Let’s go girls tennis! The girls tennis team had four matches in one week. They played Alma, Chesaning, Hemlock, and Harbor Springs. They defeated Alma and Chesaning 8-0. However, they lost to Hemlock 2-6, and 0-8 against Harbor Springs. When asked how having four matches in one week felt, senior one singles Caroline Shaheen claimed, “ Having four matches was very taxing on the body and it made the week very competitive, but I was able to learn from each match and can apply it the following week.” This upcoming Friday, May 9 the lady panthers will head off to Midland Community Tennis Center to compete for the Tri-Valley Conference title.
