The NFL just finished Week 7 of the regular season and they are already looking to have great end and jump into the postseason. One of the best players so far this season would have to be Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Peyton had to go against his former team, the Indianapolis Colts, led by 2nd year quarterback Andrew Luck. The Broncos came into Indianapolis 6-0 and were looking to keep their streak going. However, the Colts did not agree defeating the Broncos 39-33. Now the only undefeated team left is the surprising Kansas City Chiefs at 7-0 after defeating the Houston Texans in week 7. The team everybody cares about, the Detroit Lions, faced the Cincinnati Bengals at home Sunday in a battle of first place teams on top of their divisions. The Lions started the game slow trailing the Bengals 14-10. Mathew Stafford and his receivers highlighted by Calvin Johnson, who caught 2 Touchdown passes, were not on the right page that they should have been on. The Lions had to punt the ball away with a little over a minute left in the 4th quarter and hopefully pin the Bengals back in their own territory which made it difficult to score. Unfortunately, the punt did not go nearly as far as it should of, giving the Bengals field position near mid field and making it easy for a game winning field goal. The Lions lost to the Bengals 27-24. The Lions now 4-3, look to rebound next week when they play the Dallas Cowboys in Detroit.
