The Multicultural Club is a new club offered at NCC this semester. The club currently has 37 members is led by Junior Matthew Medrano and Advisor Mrs. Warr. The club focuses on and celebrates a different culture each month. This month during May they are celebrating the Mexican culture and participating in the downtown Saginaw Cinco de Mayo parade with a float.  Said Medrano, “I am most excited to celebrate Cinco De Mayo, and participate in the parade. I think it will be a lot of fun.”

The Multi Cultural Club will also be at the elementary school for Discovery Day. The theme for Discovery Day this year is “All Around the World”, so they will have one classroom where they talk about Mexican culture and their religion, and another classroom where they will talk about another culture. Overall, the Multi Cultural Club is a great addition to NCC extra-curriculars, and they have a lot of fun things planned.
