Second Year of Softball for Nouvel Girls

This is the second year that the Nouvel girls have a Varsity Softball team. It’s a co-op team with Bay City All Saints and Bay City Academy. Last year, the team only won two games since it was their first year having a team. According to one of the captains and the starting catcher, Onna Zeleniuk, “compared to last year we are better and I think we can win so I’m really excited to see how we finish this year. This is my favorite team I have played on and I am personally hoping I finish this year well too.” The softball team is coached by Greg Wagner and Walter Neetz.

The girl’s first game is on Thursday, April 13 at 4 pm at Peck. Their first home game is on Monday, April 17 against Mayville at Bay City All Saints at 4 pm.
