The color green is what everyone associates with St. Patrick’s Day. To get in the festive spirit, here are some of the worst and best tasting green foods to eat.

Top 5:

Green Beans- These not only taste good, but they are also healthy for you. There is also a lot of dishes you could make with green beans. You could make green bean casserole, eat them plain, or put different dressings on them and they will still taste good.

Shamrock Shake- This sweet treat gets everyone in the holiday spirit. It’s minty, but not too overwhelmingly minty that it’s hard to drink.

Avocado- There’s a lot you can do with this versatile vegetable. It tastes good in wraps, on toast, on sandwiches, with chips, and much more.

Pickles- Everyone loves pickles. You can eat them fried, plain, or on a sandwich and they still taste good.

Green Grapes- These grapes can come in different flavors including the flavor of cotton candy. You can also make a lot of dishes with green grapes including grape salad or fruit pizza.

Worst 5:

Broccoli- Very few people like broccoli. It is very bland and the texture does not taste right.

Green olives- These are very salty and bitter. They do not leave a good taste in your mouth, and if you put them in any dish, then the dish is ruined by the taste.

Peas- The texture of this vegetable is just weird. They also taste very chalky and bitter, and they don’t leave a good taste in your mouth.

Kale- This vegetable taste like nothing. It is very bland, and if you put dressing on it, all you taste is the dressing because kale doesn’t taste like anything. It doesn’t blend with other foods well.

Brussel Sprouts- This vegetable is almost too leafy. You have to chew threw the leaves before you get to the actual brussels sprout. They are also very squishy, which ruins the taste of it.
