Ladies Face a Bumpy Road to Success

The Lady Panthers suffered a tough 47-30 loss against the Cardinals of Michigan Lutheran Seminary last week. They started off by taking an early lead of 11-9 at the end of the first quarter, but struggled the rest of the game to find the bottom of the net. finishing the game in a 47-30 loss. Senior Camille Wardin was one point away from receiving a double-double, scoring 9 points and 10 rebounds, as well as 4 steals and 3 blocks. Senior Iris Patel scored 6 points in the first quarter but was then later injured at the beginning of the second quarter. The girls are still working towards their first win of the season. Their next game will take place this Friday, January 20th at 5:30 pm against Ithaca, and will be a home doubleheader with the boy’s team.
