Panthers Go Pink

Nouvel Catholic Central held its annual Pink Week at the start of this month, in order to help raise awareness for Breast Cancer. There were many activities planned by the PR & Marketing class, including ‘Pinko Pinko’ where students could pay $1 and win a variety of prizes, dress-up days and a pep assembly. At the Pep assembly, students competed in a Grade vs. Grade dodgeball tournament, 3-point shootout, and  prize raffle. Throughout the week, the school raised over $500 to donate to the cause. The Pink Week athletic match-ups included a Varsity Volleyball team sweep-win over the Sharks of St. Louis, and an unfortunate loss for the Varsity Football team to Standish Sterling Central. Thank you to everyone who participated in the events this week and for helping us raise money to support those in their fight against cancer!
