Game Day Prep: Ella Spence

Ella Spence is a Junior on the varsity volleyball team. Ella says she prepares for her game days by keeping a good mindset, even if she knows they’re going to play a harder team she says it is best to have high spirits. She knows what she expects from herself and her teammates which is to go into the game and put in all your effort, “hard work pays off” Spence says. The varsity team typically eats Jimmy John subs on game days. Before the game, the team does a series of drills and warmups to prepare, such as hitting, serving and passing drills. Ella said her favorite hype song is Drank In My Cup by Kirko Bangz. For their next big match-up, the ladies face rivals Valley Lutheran on October 10th. Be sure to come out and support!
