Softball Continues to Strive

The softball team had a rough start to the season, winning only one game. They are learning how to work together as a team. Most of the girls are still trying to get better at the basics of softball and they are improving as the season continues. They have found a pitcher that is still starting to get into the hang of things. They have a great attitude when it comes to practicing and working together. They always are having fun and find the good even when there is little of it.

This is a first-year team after Ionna Zeleniuk; a junior who bugged Mr. Decuf for three years. They are really improving as a group and a team. At the beginning of the season, the girls were being mercied by every team, but now they are improving with every game, recently losing by only one run. The girls were very disappointed but also very happy. You can see their improvements as you watch their games. If you watched their first game to their game right now, there is an obvious improvement. 

Said Zeleniuk “I’m so glad that I’m finally able to play on a school team with a group of supportive players. No matter what we do, it’s always done with excitement.”
